I'd be shocked if it was anything more than a bruise

if it was just a bruise he should be ashamed of himself....not only was he pathetically inaccurate...but he pouted the whole game...just didnt seem to wanna be there...how that could be after the pre game emotions is beyond me...thats why i gotta think he was hurting more than is being let on

Coaching - sucked
Special Teams - BLEW
Defense - missed Trotter, but after the first 2 TDs, they were solid and forced TOs.
Offensive line - PATHETIC
Quarterback - terrible and affected by the coaching and Oline

Throw all of the blame on McNabb, go ahead. I know you are thinking it. You are such a cliche Eagles 'fan'

Defensive coaching was awesome.  Offensive coaching was, well... offensive.
Special teams was solid, except for Akers going 1/3.
Yep.
Yep.
Yep, but even when he had time, he was not putting the ball on the money.

Dont forget Dawkins is GOD.  I wish he played WR or QB in the 4 quarter

ST sucked. Besides the missed FGs, Hood had nowhere to run ALL night. He made some solid plays on ST though on Rossum.

I meant offensive coaching, sorry. JJ was spot on, Dawkins was insane.

Seabiscuit...I said the SAME THING to MURP in the 3rd quarter. lol. Put him in there on offense.

Bottom line is, TEAMS win the game...TEAMS lose the game.

Anyone who sits here and blames McNabb solely for this loss should leave their Eagles gear at the door and get the farg out. I'm sick of this shtein.

yeah i threw it all on mcnabb by giving him an injury out??

bottom line tho is he was horrid...the two fumbles ALL on him...worm burners circa 02 were back...throws in general just all over the map...and again his attitude was stinky like a wachovia lot jiffy john...most of the night he looked like he wanted to be curled up in bed at home...even his trademark smile looked forced

theres other blame to go around...reids coaching is always horrible...the line was putrid...lewis isnt an nfl starter...and reggie brown isnt ready to be in this offense...they need a legit #2 wr and they arent going to get it this year...i could go on....but bottom line is the qb lost this one

The good news is nobody is really crying over Trotter. Yeah the defense got run all over, but they managed to keep the game close.

If Trotter had been in the game, we win, simple as that.

The D got run on, but not up the gut.

??? Not up the gut?? The three biggest runs that the Falcons had were straight up the middle. Labingo was getting pushed around all night, and looked like shtein. With Trotter in there, the Falcons DO NOT rush for 200 yards. It was one of the biggest differences in the game not having him in there. Next time Trotter needs to keep his cool.

I knew it was going to hurt as soon as Trotter was thrown out. He's the fuse of this D. You can bet someone is going to pay when he gets back in next game.

McNabb was off, big time. I hope he can get into a groove next game. I thought the hit he took to the sternum was a spear. Look at the replays, it should have been called, not that it would have made any diff in the end.

This is a game we should have won, Trotter should have been in there and Akers never has missed two FG's in a row that I can remember. Even with McNabb and the o-line looking bad, we still should have won this one.

I disagree with this big time LabinJo was far from the only problem. And since when did rush yards become a HUGE problem for this team? They can give up 14 points for all I care, the OFFENSE was the problem.

Its been said many times but this is the first game of the year for a historically slow starting team.  Take a look around ladies and gentlemen this is the last week we'll be looking up from the bottom of the Division.  Everything that could go wrong last night on Offense did and we still only lost by 4 points.  Mcnabb can only go up after that performance.

how many times can the friggin offense line have an "illegal formation" penalty in one game?

Even on a farkin' punt.  Penalties were early and often.

ice grillin you

the defense was fine...like pg said they always give up rush yards...standard fare...they even caused the turnovers that jj preached at camp...unfortunately mcnabb matched them

labinjo is about 24th on the list of complaints...he did fine...and if he didnt who cares

this loss by itself is next to meaningless...it was tough game and i kinda expected it...the fact that they should have won is what hurts

however in the early season big picture it becomes very meaningful...three of the first five are killer road games...at this point 3-2 going into the bye would be a dream

Bullshtein, bullshtein, and more bullshtein. The winningest coach in the NFL the last five years and his coaching is "always horrible??" Give me a friggen break.

If Lewis isn't a NFL starter, then we've been playing without starting recievers ever since Ried took over until last year.
