LASIK rules.

I'm a solid 20/20 now, and eyes aren't overly dry anymore either.  I had my surgery 2/14/05, and I will say that it takes probably 3-4 months to 100% fully recover.  After 4-6 weeks, my night vision was still a little sketchy and my eyes would constantly go dry on me.  Now, no problems whatsoever.

I hated contacts and glasses.  I split time between the two.  I can think of a lot of ways to spend $1995, but LASIK was the absolute best money I've ever spent.  Ever.

My father had LASIK a few years ago.  He loved the results, and he wore glasses for over 30 years.

Ive worn contacts since 5th grade and both my wife and i are ready to get Lasik.  I wear - 6.50 in both eyes and she wears - 8.50 in both.  We're technically blind i guess.  FF its only 2k now?

Also whatever happend to the poster from Scranton?  He lost a contact in his eye and i havent seen him back here since?  I cant remember his name though?

You should be able to find a reputable doctor that will do it for $1000/eye, yes.
