MURP

If I was a PSU fan I would scream after reading that.

PoopyfaceMcGee

It sounds like he's only looking to play him in mop-up time, so that is infuriating.

In that press conference, he also kept complimenting South Florida's team, comparing their active front 7 to Miami and FSU.  I can only hope he's at least 20-25% right about South Florida being good, even though he's not.

QuoteMorelli is a player and I want to be careful we don't play him 10 plays and lose a year

what exactly does he mean?  something to do with redshirting?  worried that he would lose the game in 10 plays and then blow the season for PSU?  ? ?

PoopyfaceMcGee

I think he's talking about redshirting.  They farged up his redshirt last year, so I guess he's still considering keeping him on the bench enough for him to qualify for one this year.

That would suck.

Now now - Don't judge the alumni based on the West sideline: to sit over there you have to be over 70 or donate more than 6 figures to the University.

The real alumni fans sit in the north end zone.
QuoteLet's see how Mike bounces back this week against the powerful Bearcats.
We can all hope.  Last week was so bad, I don't know who to blame.

That West sideline is a disgrace. My section Saturday wasn't much better. The luxury boxes were pretty hurtin'.

I'd rather be in the North Endzone, and then next year move into the Student Section.

actually, if Morelli is ok with it, I think it would be the best thing for PSU to do.  No sense in him losing this year of eligiblity for sitting on the bench most of the year.

I think JoePa would like to keep that option on the table for now, but he's realizing it's unlikely he'll be able to do that.

How bout them Nittany Lions?  ;D (28-3 midway through the third)

MDS

Theyre playing Cinci. Keep it down, sport.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Considering the last couple of seasons, every win is a big win for PSU. Temple's looking good today  ;)

PoopyfaceMcGee

I couldn't go out to watch the game today, but it looks like there were some big pass plays by Robinson... were those, for the most part, bombs?  ...or were they short passes and great runs?

NGM

Long bombs.  One to Justin King (TD), one to Derrick Williams (to 4 yard line), and one to number 3 (TD) whatever his name is.
Fletch:  Can I borrow your towel for a sec? My car just hit a water buffalo.

MDS

 :-D 65-0 loss.

They blow. But I'll be there next week against Toledo.

At least for the first half

Temple had less than 10 yards of offense before their last drive, which was basically against the Wisconsin towel boys.

Wisconsin either has scary depth, or Temple sucks hard.  I'm leaning towards both.
