265 is not overweight if you're 7'3" or taller.

6'4" doesn't cut it, huh?  :'(

Eh, if you have some muscle on you, you only have to lose about 20 lbs or so to be in a somewhat healthy range.

Whatever, fatty.
Anyway, back on topic.  Penn State rules.  Mike Robinson sucks.

Mike Robinson will make you eat your words one day, sucker.

I hope so, but I highly doubt it.

MURP

Robinson looks just as bad as I thought he would, doesnt look any better than the limited reps from last year.   On the other hand, the young freshmen sensations looked to be the part.   Gotta get the ball in their hands as much as possible.

The thing with Robinson is that he just doesn't seem to comprehend the QB position at all.  He gives up on plays way too fast, if it were up to 99% of the PSU fans and alumni Morelli would be in there this week.

If it were up to the alumni, there would be no standing and cheering at games.

Let's see how Mike bounces back this week against the powerful Bearcats.

Now now - Don't judge the alumni based on the West sideline: to sit over there you have to be over 70 or donate more than 6 figures to the University.

The real alumni fans sit in the north end zone.

We can all hope.  Last week was so bad, I don't know who to blame.

Your hatred for all things Penn State is curiously refreshing.

As much as I hate to say it MURP called this a couple of weeks ago when I talked to him.  His hatred for PSU does not cloud his judgement.

Paterno being asked about playing Morelli:

QuoteIn terms of not using Anthony Morelli last week, was that just an oversight or do you still feel more comfortable having Michael Robinson in there when the game is close?

Oversight probably is too strong of a word. I thought about using Anthony, but the game was never in a situation where I felt comfortable. He had a great week of practice prior to the game last week and had a really good practice yesterday. I think we have to make up our mind to get him in the game. Where, when and how you do it is always tricky. I don't want Michael Robinson ever to think that we don't feel he is the guy that can get the job done. Morelli is a player and I want to be careful we don't play him 10 plays and lose a year or put him in a place at the wrong time when he can't have some success. I really like him. I think he is a good football player and probably will play a lot more in the future this year than he has played so far, which is obvious. If he plays two plays, that is more than he played last week.
