No one here is SMITTEN with TO.

But just as we can recognize that he was an icehole a month ago with his retarded antics, we can recognize the good things he does too. Visiting shelters down south, auctioning off his ring to send money to the victims...those are GOOD things that shouldn't be shtein on just because of his ridiculous antics.

We can also recognize that TO and McNabb have insane on-field chemistry and that can only make our team better.

Period.

da,

You should hear the sports radio here. For 4 solid months there was hundreds of "get the bum outta here" calls. After the Cincy game? Not a one.

Even that dopey farger Shoulderpad Sean said he wouldn't root for him. Now he's kissing his ass.

I love TO. He's a whack job, but I love what he gives this team.

Skip said that T.O. is going to undermine the Eagles this year....  ::)

da... the Eagles are a better team on the field with him than they are without him.  Wouldn't you agree with that?

Is he a fruitcake?  Hell yes.  But the fact is, without him, the Eagles are a vastly inferior team on offense.  I'll take his idiotic and childish behavior off the field so long as he performs on it.

Definitely. The guy isn't right in the brain but during his timeout I believe he listened to those around him who told him to shut his yapper.

I never ever said to get rid of him unless they could have received an equal player. These guys are professionals, no matter what happens off the field, should not impact what happens on it. I've heard player after player echo this same sentiment...which means these guys want to win and know their best chance to do so is with TO on this team.

Who gives a shtein?  The ends justify the means in this instance.

T.O. donates his ring, gets massive publicity for the cause and himself.  Everybody wins.

The only jerkoffs complaining are the haters who don't like him to begin with.  You know what?  We get it.  You dislike T.O.  You think he's an attentionwhore, you think he's unbalanced and selfish... blah, blah, blah.

The guy is doing a good thing here and if he gets a little PR juice out of it, where's the harm in that?

Just STFU, already.  We have a game to win on Monday.  Focus on that.

What burns me up is the "haters" from the summer are all suddenly smitten with the guy again. Where are all of the "TO MUST GO" people now....they've scattered like roaches in the light. I respect those still carrying the hate...at least they are true to their convictions. I'm glad he's on this team. He makes the Eagles better and far more dangerous.

i dont see why its a big deal to think hes a really bad person and at the same time a great football player

and this has nothing to do with him four months ago compared to now...he was a selfish jerk on san fran...but he was so in the scope of football...where he he morphed into a despicable human being was when he made the garcia gay comments...the crap this year such as calling out mcnabb was so zzzzzzz compared to the inexcusable personal attacks on another human being and his family

i hope TO spends the rest of his life helping other people instead of hurting them...but excuse me if a couple of self promoting acts in the last 24 hours doesnt in my mind make him the next mother theresa

the guy is an embarrassment...but as ive the whole time i hope he helps the eagles win a superbowl...its just a shame that it will be less fun to do it with someone like him on my team
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I've never agreed with anything you've ever said as much as I agree with all of this.

he's a 'really bad person'? That's the second time you've said that on this board about TO and he's not a 'really bad person'...he's a dumbass with a big mouth, but NOTHING he does or has done constitutes a really bad person.

I tend to agree, also. Hey, I love Owens on the field...but the guy needs psychiatric help. Bringing his publicist along for a "goodwill day" doesn't really make him any less of a nutjob.

Bottom line, though...he can do pretty much all he wants off the field, as far as I'm concerned. Just as long as he performs in the games.
