Did it occur to you that the press contacted her? He had no cameras down there with him he had no press with him. Its very possible that word got out that he was there to the media and they went trolling for comments.

he joined the houston comets to visit refugees...as if that wasnt being covered by the media down there

in no way shape or form did TO not intend for that trip to get out

i think its great he did it as the people he touched could care less about intentions and were helped by him...but he absolutely did this for favorable media attention

And you could say that about every pro athlete who goes on TV to talk about it though. I'm just glad that he went down there on his day off when he really didn't have to. TO didn't hold a press conference to talk about it. That's my point. And he knew by going down there it would get out. TO , especially these days, can't do anything without it being reported.

He also does the Alzheimers stuff too.

He's a jackass and possibly needs medication...but he still does good stuff.

Just curious....how many other NFL players went to shelters from outside the area on their days off and spent their time with victims? And don't say that the media didn't cover it because just about every shelter is swarming with media, and I know this for a fact (working for a volunteer group).

What burns me up is the "haters" from the summer are all suddenly smitten with the guy again. Where are all of the "TO MUST GO" people now....they've scattered like roaches in the light. I respect those still carrying the hate...at least they are true to their convictions. I'm glad he's on this team. He makes the Eagles better and far more dangerous.
