I guess since he is unable to feed his family with his salary, that this was a way he could donate money without affecting his wallet.

Actually, its more of a way to bring awareness to donating. The same way telethons with musicians bring awareness and get people to notice. Players donate money all of the time, this way, its gotten the public involved.

Or it could be a brilliant PR move on his management team's part to erase the stigma of him being a greedy, selfish jackass.

Either way it works for me.

PS:  I showed the auction to the Mrs. this morning and she said "don't even think about it."

Agreed that it could be, however, TO doesn't fall into that whole PR thing. Where was his PR crew during training camp?

TO has ALWAYS been giving of his time and money to charity. The fact that there are so many elderly people missing and dead down there has to have struck a huge nerve in TO, because of his grandmother and all of the time he has spent in homes with the elderly.
