Granted this guy was signed a few days ago, mainly for fodder but Jaws was saying how he was hurt at San Diego in college and this is more of a pick up for the future. He suggested we put him on the PS. In the short time he played last night, he looked good - showed good hands and the ability to go over the middle. I wouldnt be suprised if this guy was playing on the 53 man roster at some point yhis year.

I was impressed by his catch. I wouldn't think he'd be on the 53 man this year, but they obviously like him since they brought him in so late. Plus he played for Captain Comeback, ala Jim Harbaugh in SD -- so Jim called in a favor for him.

I really like his size. 6-4 for a WR w/ long arms is always a plus - I think he would be more valuable than Carlos...

Carlos did not help himself last night. I wasn't too keen on him anyway. Between Gasperon and McCants, we'll have enuff for the 4th/5th WR on the 53 squad.

There's a possibility Reid only goes with 4 WRs. That 5th receiver will never see playing time unless under dire circumstances; i.e., 2 or 3 receivers go down in a game, and even then Reid would probably elect to flex out Westbrook or Mahe before playing a green WR. This means that a guy like Thornburg, Redd, or Perry may stick.
