Putting McMullen that low on the list is just plain st00pid.

WEST is GOD

That is irrelevant. Just because he had bad QBs throwing to him, doesn't mean he is going to come in here and turn into a star. I just find it funny that other than TO the Eagles never get the big name receiver. They always go for the lesser named players. Now I don't mind that once in a while, but if they keep doing it, it's hard to think of them as something other than cheap at that position. Other than last season our receivers were absolute garbage. I can't trust them yet. Maybe some day down the line I will, but right now I can't. They've been too bad with receivers.

Eagles 2005 WR roster:

Terrell Owens
Greg Lewis
Reggie Brown
Peerless Price
Peter Warrick
Koren Robinson
Darnerian McCants
Billy McMullen
Carlos Perez

We'll just have to go light on the lines.  No problem, because injuries are never an issue there at all.

You don't have to go overboard. I'm not asking for too much. I'm asking for one out of Price or Warrick. You guys act like I am asking for the world here. Warrick won't be very expensive. When teams like the Colts and the Packers and the Patriots who are already crazy deep at WR want him, why can't a team that is extremely thin bring in Mccants and Warrick? Is that really too hard to believe? The only reason it's too hard to believe is because Warrick is a big name and Eagles rarely bring in big names. So why can other teams afford to bring him in and not us? We have more cap space than those teams I just listed. I'm not asking for the Eagles to trade for Moss here. I'm asking them to sign Peter Warrick. He's going to cost very little. It's not that big of a deal.

Who's to say the Eagles didn't make price an offer, or at least call and get an idea?
As far as that goes, I only know what I read.  From Pastabelly, I believe... that the Eagles have shown no interest in Price as of yet... although he has contacted them.

FF, thanks. I was going to post similar stats, but you saved me the time of Googling them. Some folks seem to remember Warrick from his college days...folks, he's a very mediocre NFL WR. Remember Desmond Howard? As a WR, practically the same guy as Warrick...even similar sizes.

PS, Nice touch with Miss Bunny.   :puke

Warrick just signed with the Seahawks--if he meets all of his incentives, he can get what he was getting in Cincy---2.28M.

In case you missed it in the NFL section, there are rumors in Dallas that Price will visit Philly tomorrow, and when Spadaro was asked on EMB, he gave a "No comment"...  :paranoid

PhillyGirl

Sounds more like Price and his agent saying, "if you don't sign me now (to Dallas), we're heading out to Philly...got it?"
