If Price comes here, it'll be as the #2 (outside) receiver opposite Owens, while Lewis will primarily play the slot.
More Mahe please.

Ahhh no. Lewis is starting. Right now Brown is #3 on the depth chart. Whoever comes in here would probably go in at #4 and have to work their way up.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I disagree. I think MDS is right IF they brought in someone like Price (which I don't think they will). I tend to believe they'll bring in another vet WR that WILL play the #4 spot behind Brown. BUT...Price would not be brought in to be a #4.

REASON #1324 THAT PRICE WILL NOT BE AN EAGLE: See if you can follow me on this one folks. Price would only go somewhere to be the #2 or #1 on a team. The Eagles would only sign him for one year. TO will be gone after this year. If we sign Price, both our #! and #2 receivers would be gone after this season. It's not going to happen.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

They wouldn't sign Warrick or Price and put them at #4.

The #4 WR has to cover kicks, punts and play on all STs units.

Do you see Peerless Price covering punts? Exactly.

Owens
Price
Lewis
Brown
McMullen

Lewis and Price would see probably the same amount of snaps despite being 2-3 respectively. Call them 2a and 2b.

MURP

If Price was ever brought in, which he wont be, he would compete for a spot.  If he was good enough to be the #2 he would be, if not, he would be the #4.  It's not like Reid is gonna hand out a spot without competition.

MDS

I think Price would have to work his way up, so he would start (key word) at #4. It could be very likely that he winds up starting besides Owens, but I think he has to earn the right to take away reps from Lewis and Brown (who have been very good in the preseason). If he plays like he did in Atlanta, he'd fit nicely at #4. If he plays like he did in Buffalo, then we have a steal waiver wire pickup and a nasty recieving duo.

We could sign him to a multi-year deal, front-loaded of course to protect ourselves, and we'd have an insurance policy just in case Owens does depart next season.

The Eagles aren't going to sign Peerless Price, so who cares where he'd be on the depth chart if they did?

Read again there, Corky... I said at worst.  That's assuming that he can't beat out Lewis and Brown.  He may... he may not... I don't really care.  I just want the best WR's on the field, and some solid depth behind them.

That's my whole point.  Let him compete and let the best WR's win.

Can everyone just read this to themselves a few times and shut their pieholes?
