I've been pulling The Freak off the line to use him as a stand up pass rusher and the AI is certainly keeping up with it. They shift a tight end to his side every time. I like the smarter AI now. The rushing game is awesome. I love the little dump HB screen. You get three linemen pulling and plowing the way for you. That is a great improvement.

back on topic, week 4 at chiefs...ive prob attempted 4-5 times. i always quit in frustration. i can't beat them! its either int after int or fumbles. its rigged! last night i was up 14 zip at the half on all-pro setting(which is a low score for me). they controlled the clock the entire 3rd quarter, running and tying the game. i couldn't stop them. 4th qt rolls around and McNabb decides to fumble everytime hes sacked. No lie, he fumbled 5 possesions in a row! All from sacks since its impossible to run with a QB anymore. with the score 27 to 14 with a minute left he fumbled again...i just about broke the controller. i quit. its only on all-pro and i can't beat them for the life of me.

did the chiefs sign Koren Robinson too? I also can't figure out how their defense went from dog crap to FANTASTIC. I play on All Madden now cause my first two games included 18 sacks/1 shutout/68 score (vs. Niners), but I lost to KC something like 35 - 28.

and why the hell is Teddy Bruschi a FA in that game? Also, why is Reed not on IR?

Yes Koren Robinson being on the chiefs is news to me too. Their D-LINE is always on McNabb. I can see why Reed isn't on IR, hes not the best known player...so i can see how they overlooked it. Even though these developers and designers get paid mad chedda to make the game you think they could keep track of everything in the offseason til a certain point and then they have to set it in stone. Oh and why does Ryan Moats have a speed of like 89? Dude hes like a 99 from what ive seen from him past two pres-season games.

i bumped moats up to a 97. If your having too many interceptions i had to knock the ai down one notch on all madden because it looked like 11 Eric Allens out there every time.

I started another Franchise last night and picked the Jets.

I can run real well with Curtis Martin. Just not with Westbrook. I don't know why. I guess I'll have to build up Westy in the training camp to get him more break tackle.

And yes, the Chiefs did sign Koren Robinson in my franchise mode too.

Maybe they know Dick Vermiel likes the loser players? He did draft Lawrence Phillips after all...

I find it a little odd that the Chiefs signing Koren is built into the franchise mode. I wonder what else they have plugged in there permanently.

In 2005, when you did fantasy drafts the 49ers always picked McNair and Brooks and would put on the trading block.

In franchise training camp it's very easy to get 3 points to add to Westbrooks break tackle # in the running drill. thats a start to helping his run game out anyway.

I usually wait till after the final roster moves are set before starting my franchise but i'm debating considering i was able to trade Corey Simon to the Cards for their first and 2nd rounder. If i update the final roster i will have lost Buckhalter, Reed, Simon, and gained the skins receiver. i don't know if it's worth it or not.
