Guys like Michael Bennett, Tim Biakabutuka, Robert Smith and more recently Mike Hart have had success in the Big 10 without being massive power backs. It's not like you have to be a Larry Johnson, TJ Duckett or Ron Dayne to succeed in the Big 10.

It was more D-Line than O-Line, and the D-Line is pretty deep.

It was more D-Line than O-Line, and the D-Line is pretty deep.

Scott Paxson and Ed Johnson were disciplined on the D-Line, but EZ Smith, Tyler Reed, and Andrew Richardson all were suspended along the O-Line. Its not like hurts much, those guys on O sucked last year anyway.

True. But to me, I think LeSean takes his game to the South.

I heard on the local news that Dan Connor may be suspended along with two other players for making prank phone calls I haven't been able to find anything official. Has anybody else heard of this?

He has been suspended. Rumor is he pranked called a coach. Phil Grosz said it will likely be the USF game. General consensus is that JR Zwierzynski will start in his place.

There are plenty of people at the PSU campus to make someone of average intelligence feel smart. The football & basketball players are some of them. Dumb as doorposts, really.

I read in the local paper that Paterno might junk the spread offense because the players aren't executing it well enough.

It's probably because the OL can't block anyone without help from backs and TE's.

I actually heard the complete opposite from the dude Ed who writes updates for BWI. He said the 4 WR set has been unstoppable with Williams, King, Butler, and Sargeant/ Golden. Conflicting reports but I remain confident Galen will use it September 3rd.

Golden has also stepped up his play. The dude Ed said he looked nice, but thats what I heard about Kinta Palmer last year.
