I have decided that I am going to sponsor Rosenhaus with or without anyone's blessing.

I am now the official sponsor for Team Rosenbling.  Team Rosenbling will also answer to the name Team Cash Money, Team Hold Out and Team Up shtein's Creek Without a Paddle.  Peace out.

I think everyone is missing one of the most important people in the organization (well apart from Adrienne and her collegues)  In the absense of anyone taking his sponsership on, I would like to nominate myself for sponsership of the King of Bling, Howard Eskin, the most informed member of the Eagles media.  Also I would expect a small homage from the person who claims any other media members, not limited to Merrill Reese.

Not to be a nit picker, but the original post said "I've seen this opn a couple boards in St. Louis, and it works pretty well.  The idea is that each member of the Eagles (players, coaches, and executives) are "sponsored" by a member of CF. "

That said, hell it's just an Internet sports board -- sponsor whoever you want!

Maybe I'm way off base here, but I somehow was under the impression that if our player starts sucking or acting like a complete sociopath in the national media, we were supposed to "get all the trash-talking and have to defend him," not "dump him and pick up a guy who doesn't suck or act like a complete sociopath in the national media". In fact, I kinda thought that was the entire point of the endeavor.

When your guy starts acting like a douchebag, all you have to do is offer up some mock excuses and have a couple laughs. This whole thing might be a kinda stupid idea, but it's not like the agony of having a zesty player's name in your sig is so great that life becomes unbearable. You're sponsoring the guy, not getting donkey punched whenever he makes a mistake. Well, unless you are, but that's outside the boundaries of the game.

Just out of curiousity, why? Kind of goes against the spirit of the whole sponsorship thing. You were the one trashing him in the other posts.....
