Commercials.  It's bad enough you have to sit thru previews but now you als have to sit thru fricken ads too.

Ain't that grand?  You pay a small ransom to take your old lady out for a movie--$35 easy with refreshments--and then they make you watch ads.

So lemme get this straight:  I pay money to watch ads?

That's farged up.  I boo them.  People actually get pissed at me for booing the ads.  Sheep.

yeah, the commercials piss me off too...and they cause the movie to start 1/2 later than scheduled.

those fargkkin commercials are getting out of hand.  id have to say people talking close second.  when i lived in philly, people would alwys be making comments and opening their worthless traps.  fargin ignorant.  since moving back to lanc, not a problem.

cell phones don't go off as often as in the past thanks to the commercials they run before the movies.  its the douchebags that constantly yap during the flick that piss me off.

I'm moving to Pittsburgh in a little less than a month. I noticed there's an enormous Loews Cineplex right by my new place that advertises the legitimate start time of the movies, in addition to the traditional method. The revolution is coming. :evil

By the way, if I ran a theater chain I'd either block out or jam cell phone signals at each screen. Of course, then someone would have a heart attack or something and try to call 911, and I'd end up getting sued.

it's hell getting all that butter off my unit.

Apparently no one has anything to say about this post. I thought it was rather hilarious.

Commercials. People can be knocked out, babies duct taped, and tickets aren't too bad. But for farg's sake get the movie going already.

Just go to your seat 5 minute later. Maybe 10 minutes.

Well, I almost always reserve my seat via internet. 8)

hmmm, I've never been to a movie theatre in the US where your ticket reserves a particular seat.   This is in Japan your talking about?

Good question, I'd like to find the theaters here that do that!

Slow down speedy.  Focus on finding a theater with booster seats first.  ;)

satoshi

Yeah, there are not many theaters that reserve seats though. Especially around Tokyo. My hometown theater has the system. I live in Kobe now and some theaters have the same system. However, tons of people in Tokyo always make a line and it's really gross to join.
