Berman's interview was terrible. The softballs he lobbed up there were big and easy to knock outta here.

thats because rosenhaus clears all questions before TO goes on with anyone..all this ish is set up to a degree...the biggest joke was that coors light six pack of questions...TO was giving his answers before the questions even started

as for rosenhaus...i dont understand why people blame him for all this or even any of it...he has minimal input in this...TO was a horrible person long before he hired rosenhaus (see san fran)...furthermore rosenhaus has another client in javon walker who has much more reason to cause a ruckus than TO yet he has reported and gone about his business in a professional manor...in fact for having over 90 clients he doesnt have a higher % of holdouts than any other agent...the majority of his guys do the right thing...this is who TO is...hes a pathetic joke of a person who deserves 95% of the blame for this

i have a feeling the reason people blame rosenhaus so much is that it gives them an out to jump back on TO's sack if by chance he ever returned to the team

IGY,

Did you see the very end of the Cold Hard Facts segment when you could see Drew's hand going up to pat TO on the back?

It was sickening.

I hope they Keyshawn his ass and let him rot.

PhillyPhreak54

By the way...

Some fans have rented a U-HAUL truck and parked it in front of TO's house with a big ass sign on the side that says "TO MUST GO" :-D

QuoteROSENHAUS TAKING A BIG RISK

Amid relentless rumors that T.O. might be contemplating a split with agent Drew Rosenhaus, a thought occurred to us on Friday morning while watching the coverage on ESPN of the Owens debacle.

If T.O. were to make a change, he might be doing Drew a favor.

We say that because sooner or later this mess is going to affect the ability of Rosenhaus to keep his 90-some other clients happy.  Indeed, Broncos cornerback Lenny Walls recently parted ways with Rosenhaus, opting instead for Denver-area agents Lamont Smith and Peter Schaffer.

And the quotes from Rosenhaus clients Jevon Kearse and Hugh Douglas aired on SportsCenter regarding Owens made us think that maybe, just maybe, some of the guys out there who (1) don't like what T.O. is doing and/or (2) are getting little or no attention whatsoever from Rosenhaus might start getting ideas.

As one non-Rosenhaus player told us on Thursday in reference to the Owens situation, "If Drew were my agent, I'd be wondering why he's sucking this guy's ass."

Lovely image, but solid point.

Drew, in our view, needs to think this through.  The Owens saga has raised the Rosenhaus profile to unprecedented heights, but notoriety and fame are two very different phenomena.

With that said, Rosenhaus surely will work even more tirelessly to keep his other clients in the fold, if/when any of them show signs of fatigue with the Owens routine.  But why would Drew want to put himself in the position of having to work even harder to service and maintain a client pool that amounts to roughly 5 percent of the entire body of NFL players?

Our guess is that Rosenhaus, then, quietly is hoping that Owens will decide to go in a different direction.  As we wrote in this space last month, however, the danger with a guy like T.O. is that once he turns on you he runs his mouth.  And even if Drew Rosenhaus didn't supplant former Owens agent David Joseph through means that might draw the attention of the NFLPA, that doesn't mean Owens won't say he did.

Bottom line.  Since Rosenhaus won't make a dime in his representation of Owens until T.O. gets a new deal from the Eagles or elsewhere, it's a hell of a lot of a way to not make a living.

Yep, he should've just gone on giving the silent treatment...all the Eagles FO needs to do now is to refer to the last 36 hours of TO media blather to cement the fans and the city solidly behind them.

"I don't need to talk to the coaches. I know how to play football. I know how to play football. Blah, blah blah"

Berman is a joke as an interviewer, I was embarassed for him.

I agree with you on Rosenhaus, IGY...he's a slimeball, sure. But, I think people want to blame him for "changing" TO after last season, but it's simply not true. Rosenhaus keeps trying to return these interviews to the contract, and all TO can do is make it personal. TO is so far from a professional, it's ridiculous.

TO is being himself, last year was a mirage.

Anyone notice on SportCenter last night when Reece Davis asked TO what he wanted, TO said:  "I just want to get paid."  He kind of stopped short and didn't finish the word paid, obviously realizing how that would sound.  Then he change it to, "I just want to play football, and have a fair contract."

What an ass.

Yeah, I heard that too. Drew probably squeezed TO's balls to shut him up. He had his hands all over TO last night. Disgusting.

I don't understand the dispute over the "secret waiver"..

I thought it was a known fact that TO had to sign a waiver before he played in the SB. Why are the Eagles denying it now?

You might also ask why Owens is calling the waiver "secret" if it was a known fact.

No, there was discussion/rumors/conjecture about it, but they never made him do it. I remember the talk about it. The only thing he had to sign was a waiver lifting responsibility from Dr. Myerson from liability because he was playing against his orders.
