If they won't pay him to sit or release him or trade him what are they going to do if the situation within the team is as bad as being reported?

If he comes in here and acts like an ass again, what do you thik they'll do? Do you think Reid will sit back and let TO ruin his team and what he's built? That wouldn't be fair to the other 52 guys on the team and it would cause Reid to lose this team, IMO.

If he comes back after Wednesday and acts a fool again, he will be suspended. They will pay him to sit just like TB did with Keyshawn. They'll put him on one of the lists they have at their disposal and go get another WR.

That I agree with, but like I said, I don't think he'll come back like an ass. Both his idiot agent and his mother (and anyone else down south that cares about him) will be telling him that he is committing career suicide. Its not like he's 26 years old and he can pick up with another team in a year or 2....they know that, he will too.

I think his mother is the only one who can. Not Rosenpuke...I just threw his name out there because he'll be in his ear about it too. But I think his mother putting all of this into perspective (you won't make ANY money for your family) will get him back here and acting somewhat rational.

This is definitely different than when Freddie was told to stay home...  As sick as I am with TO, I don't think this is the end - yet.

My theory is that the "week" point was carefully calculated - go away until we are having practices closed to the press.  If you want to wander around an sulk, you are going to have to do it where noone else can watch.  If the press wants to live at TO's house, then there will be less distractions for the team.

For my part, I think the Eagles should eat the money and end his farging career.  Let him sit on the bench for 7 years.

The one thing Eagles management will not (and cannot) tolerate is being made fool of by a player for all the world to see. That's why I don't know if it can be repaired at this point...I think it's going to take more than just coming back to camp and keeping his public mouth shut this time around, as he's already scorched that path in the past two weeks. He's going to need to make some type of public gesture towards management to patch this up in the next three weeks, and I can't imagine him doing that.

I have to admit that I bought and read that book. And I swallowed the nonsense with only a small grain of salt. But when Owens fired Joseph and hired Rosenhaus...I pretty much assumed that either the stuff in the book was total crap or else he'd just gone off the deep end.

Just how far off the deep end was displayed by that little circus in Owens' front yard yesterday.
