WEST is GOD

Plaxico is no question the best receiver they have. He is leaps and bounds better than Hilliard and is no doubt better than Toomer.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

Hilliard isn't a Giant anymore anyway.

No doubt better than Toomer? based on WHAT?

I certainly wouldn't say he is better than Toomer, but he is better than Hilliard. :P I would say he is more talented than Toomer though Toomer's body of work is better.

Based on what I see with my eyes while watching TV, and that is the ability to get open, go deep, and out-jump defensive backs.

Plaxico hasn't done much in his career to show ANYONE that he is "leaps and bounds" better than Toomer. Toomer played a bad season last year battling injuries and 2 terrible QBs throwing to him (and no oline protecting them). Toomer gets open, goes team and can out-jump dbacks. Sounds like you watched one season of him.

Toomer was terrible last year, as was Plax. There are circumstances that can support each of their zestyness though. If I had to pick Toomer or Plax, based solely on the on-field skill, I'd pick Plax.

I think Amani's best days are behind him. He's one of the better guys in the game and is a better person than Plax.

Roethlisberger was lobbying hard for them to re-sign him because he liked his ability to go up and get balls and his deep skills. He could help Eli out if they protect Eli.

The bottom line here is that his 6'5 frame will command a double team at times. Unlike when they had Hilliard and/or Carter/Taylor/other scrubs and the Eagles could run a lot of man coverage.

MURP

who gives a rats ass anyway, the Eagles are going to beat the shtein out of the Giants with or without Plastic-ho.

PhillyPhreak54

Yes. Good point.

Maybe Hugh will sack that "Shane Miller" this year...

MURP

apparently Rob Konrad signed with the Raiders.

QuoteThe Associated Press reports the Baltimore Ravens have matched the Cleveland Browns' offer sheet of one-year, $3 million for Ravens restricted free agent RB Chester Taylor.

damn, 3 mill for one season!

Interesting.

The Browns set it up that way so Baltimore wouldn't match it due to the $3M hit for the cap. But the Ravens have like $10M to play with. I guess they're not sold on Musa Smith and/or his recovery from that nasty broken leg isn't coming along good.

I guess they'd prefer to spend $3M on a proven guy instead of playing a rookie if Jamal get hurt or goes back to the clink.

Wonder how the good ole drug lord is enjoying his stay?

He's livin the life. He's in a posh Fed prison. He's probably got his own cell and is allowed special priveleges. Guards are probably getting his autographs.
