Speaking of losing defense. Nice move giving Pierce, one of the best defensive players on the team last year, to the Giants.  No Smoot, no Pierce...Rolle about to sign in KC. No Coles, no Gardner....Patten...decent pickup of an older player. Possibly getting Moss? So you'll have 2 midgets at WR...nice. 

Oh...and the obscene overpayment of a mediocre Chris Samuels. THAT might be my favorite so far.

C'mon now, don't pick on the taterskin fan....it's like teasing the drooling kids on the short bus....

Corey Simon getting in shape and actually playing and Hollis/Rayburn getting more reps helped the run defense as much, if not more then the changes that were made at LB.  And the main problem in the LB corp wasn't Sims play in the middle, but Wayne's play outside. 

Trot played great, but who's to say he didn't play great due to better DT play and WLB?  Also, since he's a taterskin fan, should I mention that Trott was once a skin and did NOTHING for them...

God, I love watching the taterskins in the off-season.  What's great is that the Cowpukes are following suit, as both teams have old coaches desperate to win immediately.
