Just watched "Secondhand Lions" again this weekend....great movie for anyone that hasn't seen it...IMO.

I LOVED Garden State. Zach Braff is incredibly talented...as is Natalie Portman. I think she can play just about any character perfectly.

"Garden State" was a good flick.  It's not making my list of all-time faves or anything, but it's the type of movie it'd be hard to imagine anyone NOT enjoying.  Also saw "Swimming Pool" over the weekend.  Please remember to NOT see that movie.  If you want to see tits, rent pr0n.  The movie is very slow and quite lame.

Saw Meet the Fockers....thought it was hilarious.  Definitely worth the $$$.

Also rented a few movies this weekend.

Open Water - predictable, low-budget film(and it shows), I thought it sucked.

Donnie Darko - Rented b/c of your comments here.  Thought it was a very good movie.  :yay I had to go on the website to have some things explained to me but I thought it was good.

Wicker Park - My girl wanted to see this and I was worried it was going to be really bad.  It's a love story but it has some very interesting plot twists and the lead actress, Diane Krueger, is smoking. :Drool   I was surprised I actually kind of liked the movie.

i dont think she would have played Jules in Pulp Fiction very well.

I saw National Treasure during the holidays.  Since it was the first movie my wife and I saw since April (15 month old), it was pretty good.

Also saw Hero the other day....AWESOME flick.

Yep. Great to see in the cinema. Can't wait for House of Flying Daggers.

Saw House of Flying Daggers last night. Wow! What an absolute masterpiece of a movie. Stunningly shot, great acting. Beautfully directed. Great storyline, screenplay. Great fighting, effects. Just stunning. Hero with bells on. I have nothing bad to say about this film.  :yay

"Napolean Dynamite" is amusing throughout, but only hilarious during the one scene near the end.

"Collateral" was so-so.  Nothing exciting, really.

In other news, it looks like "Elektra" is going to challenge "Gigli" for worst movie of the last decade.
