Only one team has managed to hang more than 30 points on the Eagles...and that was in a relative shootout. There's no friggin' way that the Packers will score 44 on this defense. No way.

The way our defese has played is good enough to shut out Phillys recievers...Look what we did to the Rams.

You're really using the Rams as your gold standard? Really? Dude, they suck. And is this "good enough" defense the same one that was torched for 48 points by the hapless Titans? Or the one that gave up 45 to Peyton Manning's team?

My analysis: You can't use last season as any kind of measuring stick, and think that the contest will be nearly as close. Consider that the Eagles didn't have Owens, didn't have Kearse, and didn't have Westbrook at the time. With all 3 of those weapons in there, I don't think it'll be a fair competition.

Look for Ahmad Carroll to get picked on all day. Yeah, I'd love Al Harris to get beat down by Owens, but I think Carroll will be the Eagles' bitch on Sunday. And when your safeties start worring about doubling Owens, or playing soft to minimize the passing attack, Westbrook is going to eat your defense alive.

Did you just get done eating a jar of paste or do a few whippits before posting that?  Or maybe you stole TO's sharpie and sniffed it really good. 

Walker has the best QB in the league yet he's not leading the league or even the conference in yards, catches or TD's.  He ranks behind TO in all 3 categories.  Oh, there is one category he is leading in though.....Fumbles and fumbles lost.  Congrats on that.   

You then go on to say that if Walker had a QB like McNabb, he'd be in the same league as Owens and Moss.  Are you saying that McNabb is better than Favre?  Because I know you're not trying to say that Walker is better than Owens or Moss. 

Walker is having a fine year.  He's having a breakout year.  But you know what a "breakout year" is?  It's a polite way of saying that a player hasn't done shtein since he's been in the league.  Feel free to come back in a couple of years if Walker makes a couple of pro bowls and is consitantly at the top of the league in terms of production.
