Because I started out sooooo poorly, the last few weeks I've been trying some interesting things with my picks, like:

1.  picking all the favorites
2.  picking all the underdogs
3.  picking all the home teams

None of these things are working any better or worse than my pure crappy instincts.   :-D

I'm kicking myself for not remembering to make my picks the week of the Ravens game. Oh well, I'm still trying, just to see how close I can still come after missing a week.

By the way, I picked Philly and Cleveland for the most and least points scored respectively, hit that right on the nose. Shame it couldn't help me in the standings.

I didn't go for the sure things this week and tried to pick against the grain so I could pick up some points.

it backfired...and my one saving grace (beating MURP) is now gone as well...LOL
