Little previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter as a drunken driver. That was in 1998.

Geez, if Little is still drinking, much less drinking and driving, he has a serious problem and is going to hurt or kill someone else if he isn't stopped.

He already has once.  I guess his probation expired sometime last year though.   :-\

I guess I should have said somebody else besides the poor person he already has killed. It will happen agian if he isn't stopped, and he's gonna' have to be stopped because if he's still drinking after that, he can't do it himself.

Thank God he got caught before the inevitable happened again.

If killing a woman, serving time and community service, which is basically a mulligan in terms of manslaughter, and getting a chance to go earn millions of dollars playing a game again doesn't sober you up, maybe you have a problem. The problem is obviously bigger than you, so if that night out with the boys is still necessary, how hard is it to part with $300 for a driver?

Little is in the second year of a $22.5 mil, including $5  mil up front. This is roughly 20 times what an upper middle class worker in St Louis will earn in a 30 year career. A eight person stretch limo rents for roughly $60 an hour in St Louis (I checked), with 1 and 2 hour rates and night discounts available. 18 person Escalades are available for $110 an hour. His renting a limo for the night would be akin to an average person paying $15 for a driver for the night. Maybe he will have time to do this math when he sits in prison for 60 days, during his one year suspension from the NFL ... during which he will lose $3 to $4 mil, some of his fans and friends, and possibly his once in a thousand lifetime jobs.

One can only hope thats how it goes, but who knows ... he can sack a QB, and Janikowski is looking for someone to split the cost of those pricey California limos, so theres always another job ....

Little needs more than jail, especially a paltry 60 days. I believe in Maryland you can get up to a year for a second offense. He needs rehab, 6 months to a year. Jail won't do anything for this guy, after he gets out, he should be made to go through an extensive drug and alcohol rehab program.

I'm happy that the Eagles take character concerns seriously.

What's hilarious is that Terrell Owens' ranting and raving gets more press than serious brushes with the LAW by other players.

Who cares, there go the rams, who suck anyway, but you do have to weep for the deceased family, having to see him do the same thing over again.
