Agree on all fronts. Bring on that white soccer mom cash, baby! He actually has a pretty diverse taste, but the industry is all over the place. If he can make it through life playing music and not have to look at computers all day or dig ditches, have at it. He's an Eagles fan, of course. I have some standards.

And, my man, you're speaking my language. It's EY...but all the same shtein. I'm SO over all of it, you have no idea. I literally think I'm going to either quit or get fired every day-- and I've been a top performer here for almost 25 years. I took a job internally working for a Global Vice Chair because it was a safe spot to ride things out. We got along great. After two weeks, there was a coup and he (and his Chief of Staff that I worked with closely) were out. New leadership came in shteinting on everything that was in place before truly for the sake of it. It's been a nightmare. I need to eek out another 5-6 years of doing something, and I'd love a second act that's a departure from this garbage. I know nothing about digging ditches, but if I did I'd consider it. My mortgage is paid off and my retirement money is decent, so I'd even take a big paycut to just enjoy my days more at this point. Brutal.
