My central question for these wetbacks was:  Holy farg, how do you people, every single one of whom works for a living, tolerate the risk of injury that comes with playing?  I don't do shtein that might injure me; I'm bankrupt if I lose my elbow for 8 weeks, or my knee. 

The long and short of their reply was, "oh well.  futball is life."

Guy I know runs a local landscaping and tree-trimming business.  He's my age.  Pretty successful.  He's from Peru and has like 5 sons running the business now.  Anyway, he goes back to Peru every year to coach soccer at the semi-pro level.  Just leaves his family and business to go to another country to coach kids.  I always thought that was part crazy and part amazing.  Now think it's just amazing.
