the show to me OK. kinda all over the place. if it wasnt in my wheelhouse id probably of quit, but since its directly in my wheelhouse i hope it goes forever and gets into the shaq kobe years

I just finished winning time today also.  super solid.  and yeah casting was spot on except for dr. j lol.  weird because Adam McKay is actually a Sixers fan, you would have thought that he would have made sure he stuck that actor.

luckily I already knew the ending because I found myself getting weird feelings for rooting for magic over the Sixers at the end.

so a little before my time, I already knew 99% of it, but I somehow did not know a few things:

1. that Larry bird went back to school for a year after getting drafted.  I knew they were drafted a year apart so was confused when they went against each other for rookie of the year.  at first I assumed it was a ben Simmons situation. 
2. the Haywood Spencer shtein at the end - curious if that was real or made for tv.  wild shtein.

the supposed story is haywood wanted to kill westhead (who actually cut him, not kareem) but was talked out of it by his people. he was of course coked out of his mind so who the hell knows what the truth is

The Obi-Wan Kenobe finale was holy farging shtein awesome.

The Vader stuff was cool wasn't a fan of the overall series

A lot of stuff happened in the last two episodes that were fun to watch. 

Also - Ice Cube Jr. was great in the last episode.   He didn't have a huge role but he stole the hell out of the scenes he was in. 

I really liked it a lot.   Nice surprise considering I thought it would totally suck.

i dont know if its new i didnt look at the release year but i watched a documentary on netflix about an innocent dood being put to death called phantom...lot of times death row stuff you are pretty sure the guy is innocent but theres some gray area? or theres clear cut dna evidence and the person gets released....this one was blatantly obvious they put a fully 100% innocent man to death

The Obi-Wan Kenobe finale was holy farging shtein awesome. 

Wow.

Yeah the finale crushed it. Was a big fan of getting one last interaction between them. Ewan acted the hell out of that scene.

And I really liked Vader telling Obi Wan he didn't kill Anakin, I did. It not only clears up the famous "lie" from A New Hope, but it seemed at least a little bit like he was trying to spare Obi Wan the failure he felt with the whole "I was not your failure". Palpatine's little dig about feelings for your old master and Vader straightening up at that comment to reassure him it wasn't an issue seemed to confirm that a little bit for me

As much as I liked the Vader/obi wan interaction it pales in comparison to the clone wars/rebels Ahsoka/Vader/Anakin storyline. The broken helmet was also done in rebels which sort of limits the impact of that scene.

I just watched the finale and ice cube jr. was in it for like 20 seconds unless I missed something?  I did have to rewatch because I fell asleep once.  little Leia is probably the best actor on the show.

overall I thought it was fine, not great.  out of all the new Star Wars stuff, Mando is the only one that I personally think is really good.

under the banner of heaven is good.  I read the book maybe 15 years ago and don't remember one second of this story except that mormons are farging weird.

Westworld was just as mystifying as usual.

Not sure who watches the Boys on prime but 1 you're missing out if you're not 2 the Homelander/Trump carry over is a brilliant piece of writing.
