After receiving a big fine for missing last night's preseason game, sources say Ben Simmons' representation spoke to the players association and had it reiterated the money could not be recovered, a potential sign that the weight of a holdout is setting in.

He done some zesty stuff with his clients.

But in this case it's all on Ben....he's a grown farging man having a hissy fit cause it's jo jo's team and he's beloved and people rip Ben cause he can't shoot and he simply can't take it

I do think Paul is influential enough to poison his brain into thinking this is good. But on the whole this lies squarely on Ben's bitch ass.

It's almost like Rich Paul is only a powerful agent because he grew up with Lebron.

But yeah in this situation Ben has been used to getting his way his whole life, so he probably thought there was no way he would actually lose money here.

Ultimately yea it's on Ben but Paul shouldn't be covering for him and counseling him to skip team activities. It's not in his clients best interest and has only made the trade situation worse.

I don't get this line of thinking at all. All of this is occurring because Ben is a sensitive bitch who has disappeared up his own icehole. At worst Paul is an enabler. But I suspect we'd see similar bullshtein out of him if he had a different agent.

I would consider any news story blaming this on Paul to be a plant from the Sixers offering Ben a way to save face by firing Paul, claiming he was misled, and changing his strategy.

I don't see anyone not blaming this on ben and his fragile ego.  I just don't think rich Paul is helping the situation at all.

also I recently found out that rich Paul is dating Adele.  and she's skinny now.
