How many Trumper Eagles fans accused the Jewish owner of being cheap?   You can say Lurie didn't spend it wisely (Hi Carson) but this forever dispels the absurd notion he's cheap.

Don't think this list really shows who is "cheap". It's more a measure of how skilled the GM is at manipulating the cap. A team that actually adhered to the salary cap without accounting tricks would be right at 880M.

Luck plays  a big role too...a few games that turn on a play or two come downs as Ws, that shifts the order considerably.

The Eagles have been a very successful franchise for the 30 years comprising Lurie's ownership tenure.

And they've spent a ton of money.  Again, not always wisely, but still they have won a lot of games. 

It's just too bad they haven't won more Roman Numeral games.
