Probably should be. Get me a job.

ice grillin you

what's crazy to me is remembering when a 8 strikeout game was actually noteworthy...you saw a box score where a pitcher had 8 k's and it jumped out at you ....

you got double digit k's you were probably the lead on sports center

now it means absolutely nothing
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

max scherzer has been taken deep by vlady and vlady jr

vlady actually did it twice
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Speaking of zesty defense...

Tatis Jr stinks

He's got like 10 errors already and he hasn't played every game

PhillyPhreak54

Shockingly he didn't get charged for one there despite Hosmer's foot coming off the bag.

Replay in MLB is something else. Plain as day and they still go with the call on the field

QB Eagles

Speaking of the dead ball era, the Mets are leading the NL East with 57 runs scored, 10 less than every other team in baseball. Now, they've only played 18 games, but I think it's still less on a per-game basis than the rest of MLB.

The offensive juggernauts of the division are the Braves and they had one hit combined in a doubleheader on Sunday.

offense is way down across the sport, the league wide batting average is 20 points under what is was in 2011.

new CBA negotiations are going to get really interesting. game is in a healthy place financially but the players union are j-level sticks in the mud to any change and the owners want more balls in play

Jacob DeGrom:  2-2, 0.51 ERA after four games.

Jacob DeGrom, .500 pitcher.  :sly

It's amazing how the Mets stink when he's on the mound.

Speaking of stinking - Tatis Jr another error.

Most surprising teams to me have been PIT, KC, MIN, SF and CHC. For different reasons.

MIN was supposed to be really good. They've struggled. Same as the Cubbies. Although the Cubs pitching was suspect their offense has been anemic.

The Pirates win total was something like 58.5 and they're at 12 already. And the Royals have been playing some nice ball.

If you're on, check out the Baltimore-Seattle game.

Man, Lindor down to .163... and the New York media doing its thing.

Couldn't happen to a better team.

Driving home today I heard about the O's no hitter. They've kinda lost their luster to me bc it seems that they happen more often now since batters forego contact.

Perfect games are still special.

pitchers are throwing faster now....its really hard to hit a baseball

no hitters 200-254 took place over the course of 26 years. no hitters 255-308 have now taken place over 17 years. its tough to precisely quantify since there are more teams and therefore more chances to throw one, but they are happening more often than at any point in history.
