Eh, when dude is using Republican talking points about taxes and health care and "hOw Do YoU pAy FoR iT" the same day Mulvaney is admitting deficits and debt don't matter...*shrug*

Isn't Buttigieg's HC plan basically an extension of the ACA?  His campaign and the Sanders campaign don't get along.  That doesn't mean his policies are GOP policies.

The plan on his website is, unfortunately, pretty devoid of details. It sounds like a weak ass public option at most, which more emphasis placed on subsidizing private insurance---a Republican born plan that the ACA adapted after Joe Leiberman voted with Republicans.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Bingo

Hope everyone's ready. Bernies going to get crushed. Biden's 90% senile but I think he's the only candidate with a chance at this point. Bernie is pretty much foxnews liberal hating talking points in real life. I'll vote for him out of my disdain for Trump but he's the worst candidate to throw out there. Green new deal/socialism/aoc/your healthcare's getting overhauled.

I will bet money I have better private insurance than anyone in here. We still should have M4A.

That being said, Bernie's M4A bill will never pass as is and we're far more likely to get a very beefed up public option so, rest easy.

You're knowledgeable about healthcare. Average Joe voter isn't. They'll buy into the hysteria the RNC and Russia will float out there. Easy to do with the material Bernies provides. As long as there's a majority R senate it's a non issue but not everyone understands how bills get passed.

20% of voters think BERNIE is too conservative. he runs even with joe in every poll. its just nonsense to keep harping on him having the worst shot. they all have an equal chance.

latest state poll i saw had pa and mi for D and wisconsin heavily R. that creates a 269-269 doomsday scenario in which mike pence can be president and an episode from veep comes to life
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

You might come off as a "bernie bro" because you don't miss an opportunity to defend him, or drop a pro-Bernie post.  Just sayin'.

Around here when everyone keeps declaring he can't win despite all evidence to the contrary. Feels like people here only see the media narrative about him and nothing else, so I'll share that stuff when I see it.

I still like Warren best but unless something changes, she's probably not gonna be in the running to break 15% come April here in DE, so most likely voting for Bernie in that case. Joe is gonna clean up in delegates here

I'm not certain who comes out of this process as the Democratic nominee.  But I do know that this fractious infighting of the Democratic party will play right into the hands of Trump and the MAGA crowd.  The democrats cannot expect Trump to simply lose the election because of his unpopularity.
