I think it's an issue with mds's tenuous grasp of the English language.  Bowden never enabled anyone to rape women.  Neither did Fisher.   Did the so-called assaults happen while they were coaching at the school?   Possibly.   But are they in any way to blame?  Nope.

What's going on now is an atrocity. "He sexually assaulted me 15 years ago, but I'm coming forth now". What an easy way to smear someones good name. Girls get buyers remorse, they bang a dude, maybe it's to further their career, maybe it's because they're intoxicated, maybe they're just lonely, then they claim rape or unwanted sexual advances. I'm not saying that's the issue in every case but now it's the trendy thing to do so now women want to play the victim. Here's a newsflash, woman get hired because they're attractive, happens every day and will continue to happen. They flirt to gain an edge then want to cry foul when someone takes it too far. Boo hoo.

I'm actually with you as far as don't wait 15 years to say anything, but everything else is pretty much the definition of sexual harassment. If some sumo-ug lady, or any dude, said the only way I get a raise is to farg them, I'd feel victimized even though it was "consensual".

Show is a trip.

Glad CYE came back for a season but thought it was pretty average overall. Leon was really underutilized, he had a couple funny moments but was only on a few minutes per show. He wasn't as off the cuff as he usually is.

curb felt like a revival of curb and not like a new season of curb. they forgot how to do it.

the episodes were too long and disjointed. stories were not cohesive enough. larry had like 10 years worth of ideas and he stuffed them into these episodes. they needed better, crisper writing and editing. there was funny stuff but none of it came together. also the larry character is just an unmitigated unapologetic icehole at this point with very few redeeming qualities.

it would seem that the frank castle character has a slight anger management issue that I am looking forward to watching him work through.

Still haven't even started it yet. Will probably hold off until Jan.

Did wrap up Defenders a few days ago.  Not great but it was a nice rebound from Iron Fist.

Got caught up on The Gifted.  I like how it started but not sure I'm digging the direction it's going in. Definitely starting to feel like a cheesy big network cookie cutter drama that happens to be about mutants.  It's trending towards being Inhumans but with better production and a darker storyline.

I also did watch all of S1 of Inhumans. I don't know why because I hated every minute of it.  I was really hoping it would at least become meh. Nope. It was so bad I didn't even ff through the commercials because they were the best part. Just terrible in every possible way.  I'm no expert on making a tv show, but I'm pretty sure that if you're going to make a comic book/superhero show, it's probably not a good idea to eliminate the powers/abilities of 2 of the most prominent characters. Who the farg wants to watch like 9 episodes with a bald headed Medusa or a concussed Karnak?  I haven't looked at ratings because I'm not Jewish but there's no way this thing did well, is there?  Tell me I don't have to worry about a S2.
