you like social media words

I like actions

I like people with enough balls to speak up against hate.  He's more worried about protecting the bottom line though.

lurie has actually been doing real shtein for 20+ years

not making corny social media and message board points

Lurie hasn't done shtein

He's gotten rich off the city, from fan support to funding for the stadium. I'm glad he's given to a few charities along the way, what a swell guy. He's as bottom line as Braman ever was. You only buy his bullshtein because he comes off as a liberal.

My entire family minus one Uncle hates Trump to his core.

If Lurie is a Republican you hate his ass.

Lurie has done great things and is one of the more progressive owners in the league

That being said his statement was weak. The other specifically mentioned the president and the word divisive. Lurie mentioned neither.

ice grillin you

lurie speaks with his actions like going with his players to meet with philly police

stop worrying about statements and social media blurbs and worry about getting dirty

When I was leading petty officer of my division I used to go with my Sailors to meet with the police, court cases, and to bail them out of jail. I consistently give to charities too, as do you. We're both on par with Lurie I suppose, neither of us are Billionaires.

Lol, I was about to say pretty much the same thing.  The shtein I did for my troops went well above and beyond what's normally expected. I've done the court thing, I drove a kid to alcohol treatment in SD and visited every other weekend for the 10 or 12 weeks he was there.  I bought kids plane tickets to go home for funerals because they were broke. The list goes on and on.  And I donate what I can to a few select charities.

Lurie had an opportunity to issue a strong statement to the fans that he values his players over anything else. He didn't come close to that because he doesn't want to offend all the trumpers that go to his games.

Lurie didn't do shtein and his statement was weak and pathetic.  And not remotely unexpected.  He's the worst sort of compliant liberal Hoyda imaginable.  He's actually worse than a Trump supporter because at least he should know better.  farg him.

Meanwhile, Robert Kraft, who voted for Trump, was an open supporter for Trump, campaigned for Trump, and donated to Trump's campaign, comes out with this statement:

Quote"I am deeply disappointed by the tone of the comments made by the President on Friday. I am proud to be associated with so many players who make such tremendous contributions in positively impacting our communities. Their efforts, both on and off the field, help bring people together and make our community stronger. There is no greater unifier in this country than sports, and unfortunately, nothing more divisive than politics. I think our political leaders could learn a lot from the lessons of teamwork and the importance of working together toward a common goal. Our players are intelligent, thoughtful and care deeply about our community and I support their right to peacefully affect social change and raise awareness in a manner that they feel is most impactful."

Even the Bills organization denounced Trump's disgusting remarks.

Shad Khan stood arms interlocked with his players on the sidelines

He too donated to Trump
