I can't root for McGregor even though Mayweather is an all time icehole.  His "sport" is lowest common denominator shtein, I can't stand it.  Boxing is hardly the most civilized sport but the distinctions that separate the two do matter. 

Hitting a down man is for bitches and punks and street fights.  No class to it at all.  Their only claim to legitimacy stems from pointing out that there are rules e.g. even though you can pound on an knocked-out prone opponent, so long as you stop when the ref intercedes, it's all good.  farg that.

Jesus. I enjoy watching the fights but it's really difficult to get into a sport with such opaque and subjective scoring. Non-KO outcomes might as well be predetermined by Vince McMahon.

i just finished watching this. actually one of the better fights in a while but i would have def given it to pacman.

not really as disgusted as some seem to be though, have seen much more lopsided upsets. certainly doesn't make it better but meh. prob just some way to get manny one more title fight and go out on top. and makes the rematch 10x more money.

laughed my ass off when horn's high pitch voice started digging floyd after the fight.

Any word on the ratings for this fight?  I can't recall the last fight with a card featuring someone of Manny's stature, albeit he is washed up, being available via non pay per view.

We actually enjoyed watching it and like J said, totally forgot it was on ESPN.  Manny got hosed.
