he didnt understand why the hillary email investigation was closed but the investigation into russian meddling is still open...called it a double standard

So far he's the only one to not make a little opening statement thanking Comey or saying he got s raw deal. And he's following the GOP playbook by focusing on leaks.

Comeys answers seem straightforward and honest. I like how he says he wished he could go back and tell Trump to not make that request but also acknowledges he may not have had the courage to do so in that setting. I don't like that he didn't but I respect him being forward about it.

Also telling that Comey said he knew he needed to document his meetings bc Trump is a liar.

He was completely out of it. He also went in on Hillary and couldn't understand (or was willfully ignorant) that the closure of the investigation with no charges filed was for the private email server issue and not Russia.
