I haven't heard talk of restructuring contracts but it would be a little surprising if they didn't. They could easily free up $10 million from Fletcher Cox while still retaining the flexibility to cut him after next year without a cap hit.

Line wasn't bad last season for the first 4 games while Johnson was playing. Once they had to go to Vaitai (who also got hurt) and start interchanging players out of position it got a little dicey.

the nfl is not mlb...not saying they will make the playoffs this year but talent wise theyre in the wild card mix with like 10 other teams. right breaks right luck theyre 10-6 this year and losing to seattle

They still have a lump as a head coach and their defense and running game are still significant question marks.  I'm not saying you're wrong but a lot has to go right if they're going to sniff the playoffs any time soon.  They have to kill the next two drafts, hope they get some luck out of free agency pickups (meaning not total disasters) and pray that Dougie Fresh learns how to, you know, coach NFL football games in the near future.  He wasn't awful last year but he wasn't great either.

not saying doug wont farg up a close game but outside of the jets, 49ers, browns and bears every team can easily make the playoffs

My buddy and I were chatting about the pickups at lunch and I was way more excited than I should be.  He pointed out that things never work out for us as Eagles fans and it's foolish to think it will this time.  He's probably not wrong but you'd think just once they could get it right and win a Super Bowl. 

Gotta get to the playoffs to have a shot and you're right that a bounce here or there and they're in with this group.
