i need to get some shtein that my regular grocery store wont have....of the 'fancy' grocery stores like harris teeter whole foods and i think theres a third big national chain one of these around me - which one is the best to go to to find different or exotic type foods or i guess which one wouldnt most resemble a regular grocery store

wild mushrooms and fresh chicken stock....ended up going to trader joes...they had a couple mushrooms that my grocery store doesnt but not everything i was looking for...no where had fresh chicken stock but i wasnt really expecting that

For next time, it is the easiest thing in the world to make. Basically wash a chicken and throw it in a pot to boil for at least an hour. Downside is you need time and have a left over chicken. Of course you also have chicken soup if you shred the meat into it.

More commonly people add spices and maybe onion and carrot but you can just add salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder and you have a basic stock.
