Rick as a subservient Hoyda isn't working for the show or the fans.  There's a lot of other issues too but that's the killer for me.

I binged watched Westworld. I enjoyed the concept up until episode 7 where the twist comes and the rest of the series is a complete mind farg. They even nailed the ending which is rare these days. Overall I thought it was great.

I'm assuming there will be a season 2.[spoiler]I say that because of Maeze heading back to Westworld to find her daughter, the bot they sent out to the regular world, and the Samurai seen fighting on the development level when they were escaping. [/spoiler]

I really enjoyed it. Tense and smart without getting too wrapped up in dumb bot-human paradoxes.

[spoiler]I was curious to see the samurai world stuff. The original movie had action going through other themed areas, like Roman World and Medieval World. It looks like there's plenty of room to explore more plot lines.

There was also no overt sign that William was going to die, although he looked like he was welcoming it. I'm wondering if he'll be part of the second season.[/spoiler]
