You can't believe a single word a politician says when he's campaigning. What America needs is less campaigning and more publication of how every candidate voted on every piece of legislation in his career. And outlaw "riders"...if a proposal can't pass on it's own, you can't cram into another bill

Yes x infinity.  I hate how meaningful legislation gets shot down because some pos law gets shoved in there, or vice versa, and pos law gets passed because it's with meaningful legislation.

The biggest issue is the 2 party system. People vote for parties, not candidates. This year might be an exception to the rule because Trump is pushing a lot of republican voters to Hillary, but more often than not,  people vote party lines, especially on the state and national level.  I'm kind of guilty of this.  The Republican party is so disgusting right now that even if they had a legit good candidate, I would not vote for him/her because I fear that in the end, party politics would win out.

i don't want to get too cocky but i waited almost 2 hours in a neighborhood that is probably 99.9% hillary. i feel like thats a really good sign.

it was actually a really fun time. i imagine the scene is not as happy in the terrible red states.

the whole farging reason states like NC try and limit early sunday voting is because of the black tradition of taking buses from church to the polls to vote
