And it was an impulse buy.  I read Podesta's statement and the more I thought about Comey's disgustingly political machinations the more I thought why not.  I've donated more to Hillary's campaign thus far than I did to Barry's second, although not as much as his first.

I also gave to Patrick Murphy's senatorial campaign too even though that's probably a waste of money.

I voted straight Democrat for the first time in my life this time.  I've skipped voting for different candidates in the past because I detested the Democratic Party for being weak and clueless, but not this go-around.  I'm all in despite their fecklessness.

Wife and I did our early voting yesterday.  The polling place is the main branch of the Collier County Library, which has a long covered walkway that wraps around the building from the parking lot to the doors.  There is no other way to get to the doors, and the solicitors were waiting at the entrance to the walkway.  I suppose it's obeying the letter of the law (100 feet from the door), but there was no way to even attempt to avoid them.  My wife was handed fliers from every one of them. 

They were all local solicitors.  No GOP heavies from Trump's campaign there.

The good part is that we were in and out in less than 10 minutes.
