All of these counties (that contain Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston) are democratic. Many of the people interviewed in line said they were motivated to get out because Texas is close to turning blue and they want it to flip.

My ultra-liberal (might make Igy look like a neocon) coworker is convinced that Clinton will get 67%+ of the popular vote.  I'm almost tempted to break my amish-ness and enter a bet with him about it. 

The current record holder is Lyndon Johnson in 1964 against Barry Goldwater, at 61%.

My daughter saw the "Daisy Girl" commercial from 1964 for the first time yesterday.  Along with Willie Horton and Dukakis in a tank, it's among the most devastating political ads in history. 

Anyway, Hillary had a retired ICBM launch officer in his former missile silo saying Trump isn't fit to be in charge of those facilities.  Completely devastating but of course the media is still fixated on emails and Hoyda grabbing.

Yes, very interesting...considering Hillary's husband had dismissed a CIA director. I get the feeling they are thinking several moves ahead here, like how to impeach Hillary if/when she tries to dismiss him (or have the attorney general or whatever). I'd set an over/under on the number of days into her administration before impeachment talk begins, but I doubt she will even be sworn in by then.
