cali has been lock and load dem for decades...been 30 years since a pub won and in that time the dem candidate has won by double digits and barry won by around 25 pts each time

nobody lives in kc, stl or atlanta....they are big "areas" but the city populations are pathetic. the bulk of the population is the burbs around the city. thats why the braves moved away from turner field.

st louis metro is half the states population and is a top 20 metro pop in the country add in kc and the two cities are about 70% of the states population

higher than la and sf is to cali

atlanta metro pop is top ten and is half of georgias population

there are tons of people in delco, montco, bucksco, etc. that hate philly and think its full of dirty drug addicted violent thugs but a decent chunk of people are the opposite of that. i can attest to that growing up in cheltenham...nobody claims to be from cheltenham. its right on the border of the city and nobody has any identity with it...we'd just identify as philly.
