I had an appointment this morning and was also subjected to Fox News.  Of course, with the DNC being in Philly, they had to have the "Pats vs. Genos" debate.  Hard-hitting journalism right there.

i don't know its kinda pathetic to whine about it but at the same time i cant fully get mad at them

philly is a stupid place to have an event like this when your facility thats holding it isn't within walking distance of any (well one zesty) hotel...you really want a convention to be held in the downtown area of a city.....hence the reason convention centers are always in the heart of a citys downtown

where as stadiums sometimes aren't as stadiums are made to host single night events not week long conventions

i also think the gruesome heat and storms had people in a foul mood yesterday

uhhh i know youre not exactly smart but seriously?

the convention center is tiny and cant support the kind of crowds, presentation and optics required for an event such a this

the way philly is set up is glorious but sure, yea, might not make the most for an event where 99% of the attendees are from out of the area and just want to do hotel-restaurant-arena and nothing else. cleveland is a pos city with no residents that has everything in a 2 block area so it worked well for this.
