like ive said before....youre not a big picture guy. you dont really follow the minors or the analytical side of the game. you just put on the teevee and root root root for the phillies. thats fine.

im much much more into it than you, and cant take their slightly over .500 record seriously. its fun that theyre playing well and putting on a decent show most nights, but the expiration date for them hanging around contention is very likely here. thats fine. they still have enough young players to watch and more should be on the way over the course of the summer.

i think 2017 will be more fun, but likely not enough to compete. 2018, if everything goes well, will be the year to start really taking what goes on on the field seriously. see you there.

but i can guarantee i follow the organization and sport closer than you do. im not bragging by any stretch of the imagination. the end result may have the same effect on us, in terms of "caring." you definitely care more about winning games this season than i do.

j is one billion % the fan that we are...hes just a completely different animal...hes a daily please win every game so i can tweet skip bayless on twitter and beef with opposing fans...text "go phils" to his astro fan friend...etc...he cares more about other teams players and fans than he does his teams but he doesn't care less about his teams than we do

we care more about the Phillies 22nd ranked prospect than we do tony romo

but when the phillies start winning meaningful games and are a contender we all care the same
