I would expect effort from every player on the team.  It's called being a professional and that's something your generation can't grasp.  You're lazy, spoiled and self-indulgent Hoydas who wouldn't know what a hard day's work looks or feels like.   You can push buttons on gadgets, though.   Which is nice.

how many times you gone to work hungover and slept in the bathroom stall

or not gone to work cause your ass was drunk like the irish sot you are

what exactly does this prove ? the debate isnt whether others in the world have ever been lazy or loafed around at work, it's whether a person should deal with backlash because of it.

If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

phillies will be under 500 this year...book it

MDS

its simply unrealistic to expect a player to sprint down the line like its game 7 of the world series on every single at bat....human nature takes over in most cases. you get your rare perfect GRITTY specimens like utley who do but most players would do the exact same thing odie did

i didnt have a problem with mack sending him a message to just prove a point, but its not going to work.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

I'm saying give a solid effort every time you're out there.  I'm not saying everyone has to be Charlie Hustle.

And I give my best effort at work.  Not every minute of every day, no, but my job doesn't require that.  It requires intelligence, preparation and organization and I'm damn good at it.  At middle age I rose from the bottom of the department to just under a top slot in the department.

Hard work pays off and that's a universal given regardless of your profession.

My work doesn't require maximum physical effort, IGY.  His does.  When he fails to give it he's subject to the admonishments of his boss (manager).

My job is almost exactly like Mackanin's.  I'm a manager and I require consistent effort from those I supervise.

this has nothing to do with baseball but this is inherently not true. plenty of people work hard and dont get shtein...meanwhile rob kardashain's big titted sister fargs a black guy on camera and now he gets paid more than you or i make in a year to go to some club for one night.

the american dream is dead. vote democrat. thanks.

Have you watched baseball this year? They've been rather pedestrian and Ausmus has been on the hot seat.

But hey cool you're happy they've lost another

ice grillin you

and they are still better than the phillies...the point is no phillie fan should be talking shtein about the tigers or a team with miguel cabrera

I cringe at what the cubs are going to do this weekend

you still got the FIGHTins at 4-2 on the trip after tonight?

it wasnt about them being pedestrian....it was their lineup most likely scoring more than 4 runs and the phillies inability to match that

same goes for the cubs series. the phillies pitching can shutout miami and washington but these cats are different

yup...they have a bunch of really really good hitters that the Phillies offense cant dream about matching...the only chance for the Phillies to take a game from them was if that ball that hit Cabrera sunday had somehow kept him out of the lineup

in the series Cabrera rbi = 4 Phillies runs =4
