Probably not. If they do end up in contention it's a miracle.

I'm happy they're playing well. Some of the future nucleus is there and doing well. Chooch and Choke having a nice little farewell season. Seeing doobie and Franco and the pitchers progress is nice. Rupp looks like a solid player even if he ends up being a backup.

They'll probably falter but that's ok. Get the rest of the young bucks up and let them get a taste and then we can start up the bandwagon next season.

Damn straight son.  Just enjoy.  Like what I see, pleasantly surprised.  The fact this team is 4 games above .500 on May 1 is amazing but taking it all in stride.  Things are setting up nicely for 2019.  Every time I get excited I am reminded of the Mets staff.
