actually ive been super excited about he Phillies flyers and sixers for most or all of the last two years....other than having championship contenders nothing is better than young rebuilding teams doing it the right way

the eagles wentz trade on the other hand was garbage

Allen went through the absolute worst racial shtein you could ever imagine in his time with the Phillies (the first time).  He was also treated like a farging slave by the Carpenter family. 

Howard, on the other hand, has been booed because he's sucked for half a decade while earning more money than 99.999999% of the population.  Oh, and he's refused to actually, you know, change his approach to hitting one iota over those same unfruitful years.   He's a spoiled, coddled 21st Century athlete.

But yeah, he's black and has gotten booed a bit, so he's just like Dick Allen.

Howard's production started downhill after 2009 and fell off a cliff after 2011.  Age and the achilles got to him.

But no doubt he is a top-5 or 6 Phillies player of all time:

I don't blame Howard at all for getting paid.  Go get that $$.  He's not better than Rollins or Utley though and I don't think it's particularly close.
