[spoiler]I honestly didn't want to see her in a relationship...with anybody. Part of the magic of Michonne is that she's a lone wolf badass. I suppose the writers are going to get us feeling all mushy about her, so that they can pull a Glenn move on the character.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]I think she shed the lone wolf image a few seasons ago...after the prison got blowed up and she killed the governor. She became more open and people friendly while she was wandering around with Rick & Carl. This relationship has been building ever since then.  Carl's gonna be totally jelly once he finds out Rick is hittin it though. [/spoiler]

Michonne hooks up with Tyreese in the book before he gets killed. Book Tyreese was a lot different than show Tyreese. She also hooks up with Rick at this point in the book, so they're following script. Yes Carl also gets shot in the eye.

But Jesus was perfect.  My girls were freaking out over him thinking he was a bad guy come to kill Daryl.  He might be in the show but not in the comics.
