QB Eagles

The following players seem like cap casualties for 2016. The number is how much salary cap is saved by cutting them before June 1.

Jason Peters ($6.3M)
Brent Celek ($5M)
DeMeco Ryans ($3.5M)
Riley Cooper ($2.9M)

Peters and Cooper are both signed through the 2018 season. I wouldn't be shocked if they give Peters another year since the OL is a trainwreck and there are enough needs as it is, but I'm not sure how much he has left in the tank and $6.3M is a lot of money.

i know its another sport and everything but mike leake is making double that this year
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Well, let's put it this way, the only player the Eagles could save more cap space by cutting is Fletcher Cox.

Restructure his contract and move him to guard. He knows it's coming to that eventually.

One thing I want is a 4-3 defense

They have 4-3 personnel

Funny thing here is that everyone was dying for the 3-4 around the same time Chip was hired.

I don't care what scheme they run, I just want it to not suck.

No celebrating Billy getting fired - only allowed to rip Chip

i still prefer it, i think it's more unpredictable and more attacking, you just need the personnel to play it

Who to root for today (besides the Giants):

Bucs win at Carolina (ha)
Saints win at Atlanta (possible)

Eagles lose, the worst they pick is #11. If either upset happens, they're up to #10; both, #9

Bears win vs Detroit (likely)
Colts win vs Tennessee (likely)
Chiefs win vs Oakland (likely)
Bengals win vs Baltimore (likely)
Steelers win at Cleveland (likely)
Broncos win vs San Diego (likely)
Seahawks win at Arizona (unlikely)

Eagles win, the best they pick is #13. If any upsets occur within the group above, the pick can fall to as low as #16

IND 7-9 = 128-126 + PIT + DEN
PHI 7-9 = 129-125 + DET + AZ
BUF 7-8 = 128-124 + NYJ2 + CIN + KC
OAK 7-8 = 129-123 + KC2 + NYJ + TEN
