I was up close and personal with the boys last night a few rows from the court. granted preseason game one doesn't mean dick but:

1. jahlil is the truth. dude could crush my skull in a second. would put money on him being ROY.
2. nerlens is still a trainwreck with the ball in his hands. may eventually be on one of the all-defensive teams but there has been zero improvement in his offense.
3. hopefully they will learn how to work together but jahlil and nerlens do not look good together. when NN drives the lane for one of his patented thad young spaz moves, jahlil literally has to jump out of the lane, leaving no one to grab the board when it doesn't go in. and it doesn't ever go in.
4. jakarr looked way better with hair.
5. new unis are farging awesome.
6. this team is hot garbage and may somehow be worse than last year.

jahlil is awful....right now they are an almost unfathomable 10+ pts per 100 worse with him on the floor than off

he literally sucks at everything except moves around the basket

i wouldn't say awful but yeah it's weird how the best player on the court can make everyone around him worse.

yeah...mostly because the defense is so much worse...the offense each year has been historically bad...but last year in particular they had tons of athleticism on the floor and guys that could guard multiple spots around the court...now you have tj mcconnel up front and jah around the the rim...yikes

also no one mentions it but there are no veterans anymore...not that they were good players but at least you had players like luc mbah a moute and j rich who would be on and off the court coaches and have guys be where they were supposed to be or let them know what they did wrong....now its just a bunch of young guys like chickens with their heads cut off out there

they are still minimum 2-3 years away from getting notable free agents....to get any real talent they are going to have to make a trade

i was just looking at their stats....mcconnel has played 383 minutes and not attempted a free throw this year....that is amazing...him being their starting pg might be the tankiest thing hinkie magic has done thus far

also covey has not hit a 3 yet this year

Best case scenario (Sixers most lottery balls, Kings second most), the chance of getting Simmons is only 44.9%.

Realistically I think the chances of Simmons on the Sixers are more like 30%. So get ready for plan B.
