the narrative after that draft by the media has been oh chip would have had the line all taken care of if it wasnt for those pesky other teams in the draft taking players

or that chip sucks and shouldve seen the run coming

yes, a 4th round OL wasnt going to do much but every time ive seen that referenced its been part of an anti chip thing
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Jerome Couplin - a safety who plays on STs

Ed Reynolds - a draft pick who also plays safety and STs

For years I could name every goddamn player, his number, position, how he got to be an Eagle, etc.

Now, I can hardly identify the starters.

Proof positive that change is possible.

Oh I still do

Just mentioning they're scouting him. I don't have a good enough feel for Lynch yet. Only watched him a couple times

oh I thought you knew he was one of the top rated qb's in the draft....I was wondering why you were posting that they were watching him

MDS

didnt see anything from him

hes not sloth-ish despite being big and tall, but he didnt throw anything beyond 15 yards or look off 1st read. actually thats perfect for chip.

he almost broke his ankle early which may have hurt him....but regardless whether he threw for 150 yards or 550 theres nothing to see from college qb's in any particular game

other than arm strength and sometimes accuracy I don't get how people scout qb's in general....it seems impossible to me...andrew luck didnt look significantly better than nick foles in college much less a once in a twice generation prospect

I can sometimes tell when a qb isn't a pro prospect but when it comes to how good of one they are going to be im lost...like I cant see the difference most times btwn a 4th and a first rounder

Yeah I knew his name was out there as one of the top guys but I didn't see anything that jumped out and screamed big time player
