I don't remember anyone being happy with the Davis hire. The rumor was Marinelli iirc and I was content with him. At least he's had moderate success and is competent. Davis has none of that.

The d Gave up 13 points yesterday. I don't like Davis either but like mds said he's at the bottom of the list of things to complain about. If they had lost 20-17 yesterday and it was a normal game where the d wasn't on the field for 59 minutes is anyone bitching about the d?

When your blockers don't block, your runners can't run. Especially a problem when your receivers don't receive. Nobody did their jobs. At this point they should just call the the "receiving corps" the "guys you throw the ball at core."

the defense certainly isn't top notch but the issues on the other side of the ball are by far, a bigger concern and affect the defense with constant 3 and outs.

because I thought they'd be better than they're showing and I wasn't impressed with the rest of the NFC.

Ok let's ignore the fact that the secondary schemes are poor. You guys are right. They're fine.

The front seven played well yesterday and they've played well most of the time the last couple years. But His Highness Mr Davis also didn't pressure Ryan last week until after they'd taken a big lead and he also refused to give safety help while ATL ate up his DBs.

But yeah it's all good.
